Adeba (referred to as “Adeba”, “we”, “us” or “our” herein) shares your concerns about the protection of your personal information online. We maintain a strict policy on confidentiality. This Privacy Statement covers Adeba’s treatment of personally identifiable information that we collect when you are on our site and when you use our services. This Privacy Statement does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to people that we do not employ or manage.

2. Collection of information

We only collect and register data for the purposes of our Professional and Executive Search and our HR Consulting services. Adeba collects personally identifiable information (such as full name, email address and physical address) and other information that visitors to our site choose to provide to us.

Adeba collects information from her clients and other parties in the course of our various services, as well as by conducting research using the Internet and other resources. We can also use these data to inform our clients and candidates on marketing campaigns and promotions. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation of May 25th 2018, you have, on request, a right to access and obtain a copy of your data, a right to change incomplete or incorrect data, and a right to delete your data.

What kind of information do we collect?

  • your name, address, contact details (email address, telephone number)
  • your curriculum vitae, motivation letter, notes
  • details of your qualifications, employment history, skills, experience

Adeba will not keep or process sensitive data, such as revealing political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, etc. or data concerning an individual’s health or sexual orientation.

3. Why do we process personal data?

Given the nature of our Professional and Executive Search and our HR Consulting services, we need to process data in order to work with you on possible job opportunities.

Adeba has a legitimate interest in processing personal data during the recruitment process and for keeping records of the process. Processing data from job applicants allows us to manage the recruitment process, and to assess and confirm a candidate’s suitability for employment.

4. Use of information

We will always obtain from candidates an unambiguous consent before sharing personal data for the purposes of the recruitment exercise with members of a potential employer, who are involved in the recruitment process: e.g. HR, line managers, ….

Also, we will always obtain an unambiguous consent from clients before sharing confidential information about the company with candidates in the course of the selection procedure.

5. Protection of information

We take appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect data against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, improper alteration or unauthorized disclosure or access. Our clients adhere to the same standards of data protection.
